His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has lauded the generous initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, May Allah protect him, towards providing in-kind assistance to combat polio in Pakistan.

Dr. Al-Rabeeah has pointed out that this humanitarian gesture reflects the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to support the brothers in Pakistan in protecting their children, Allah willing, against polio. This should come as no surprise, given the extraordinary generosity King Abdullah is known for; peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations have been accustomed to his noble humanitarian situations.

It is worth mentioning, that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques had given his orders to provide in-kind assistance to Pakistan in order to support it in its campaign against polio; that is to be added to the visit of Imams of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan to participate in this campaign towards the eradication of polio.

Within the same vein, Dr. Al- Rabeeah has highlighted the leading role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Kingdom’s Government in supporting our brothers, and helping the needy in all countries; proceeding from the principles of the Shari'a, and the privileged position of the Kingdom and its vigorous and unique participation in all occasions.
Finally, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has prayed for Almighty Allah to preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, reward him for his good deeds, and bestow upon him good health and well-being.
