Omani Health Minister Lauds the Kingdom's Expertise in Dealing with Mass Gatherings

The Omani Health Minister has lauded the Mass Gathering Medicine International Conference, which is taking place over the period from 21 to 23 September, 2013 (corresponding to 15-17 Dhul-Qedah, 1434 H) in Riyadh. The conference is held under the gracious patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, May Allah protect him.
 
The Omani Minister said, “The advancement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the health domain, with its various levels and branches, is no secret to anyone. That is why the worldwide acclaim earned by the Kingdom in this domain should come as no surprise.”
 
He went on adding: “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, being the seat of the Two Holy Mosques, is a country in possession of a rich, unique experience in dealing with mass gatherings. Such an experience makes it worthy to be the leading country in this field of medicine. Furthermore, we are confident that our brothers’ scientific expertise in the Kingdom will have significant impact on the development of this branch of medicine; thereby providing a service to all mankind. Therefore, we are proud that Saudi Arabia is a member of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the leading country in this domain. Also, we are proud of the ongoing cooperation between the two sister-countries: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman, under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and his brother the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect and preserve them both.”
 
In conclusion, the Omani Health Minister said, “I  would like to thank my dear brother His Excellency, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, and all associates in the Saudi Ministry of Health wishing them further progress and successes.”
