The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, May Allah protect him, has extended his thanks and appreciation to his Excellency the Minister of Heath and all the MOH employees for the colossal efforts exerted by the Ministry of Health (MOH) and on the achievements in MOH hospitals; given the fact that 15 medical facilities had obtained the accreditation certificate of the Joint Commission International (JCI) in recognition of their achieving the highest world quality. King Saud Medical City (KSMC) was the last to obtain this certificate on 23/1/2013 (corresponding to 11/3/1434H) in Riyadh. Meanwhile, 50 hospitals acquired the accreditation certificates of the Central Board of Accreditation for Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), aside from 40 other hospitals that are under evaluation.
In a letter dispatched to Dr. Al-Rabeeah, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - May Allah protect him - said, “We would like to thank you and all who participated in these achievements for these blessed efforts, meanwhile praying for Almighty Allah to perpetuate the guidance and success for all”.
His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has commended such generous attention from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which proves the great interest and constant follow-up of his Majesty to the health sector. In the same vein, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has confirmed that all the MOH employees are working hard, honestly and sincerely; in order to upgrade the performance of health sector in concordance with the global standards and to achieve the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Prime Minister, May Allah protect them, in serving citizens of this giving country and meet their health needs, in a manner that contribute – Allah willing – to improving the health services provided to them, in line with MOH strategic plan and the National Project for Integrated and Comprehensive Health Care, which takes into account the principles of justice, equality and inclusiveness; in terms of distributing the health services, and their easy access and affordability.
