The Deputy Minister of Health for Executive Affairs, Dr. Mansour Naser Al Howasi expressed his sincere congratulations and blessings to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz on the occasion of issuing the Royal Decree of appointing him as the Minister of Defense. “Assigning His Royal Highness to such a position is derived from the important role played by His Highness locally and internationally. His Highness achievements have reached all citizens, thus preserving the relationship between the Leadership and the people,” Dr. Al Howasi said.
Moreover, Dr. Al Howasi stated that Riyadh and other regions have witnessed a quantum leap when His Royal Highness was the Governor of Riyadh, as they have been transformed from small towns into modern cities, keeping pace with the modern developments. Riyadh city has won several awards as an international city.
Dr. Al Howasi highlighted the kindness and generosity of HRH Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz in supporting charities and civil society and humanitarian aid organizations inside and outside the Kingdom.
In addition, Dr. Al Howasi added, appointing Prince Salman as the Minister of Defense is derived from the conviction of our wise Leadership that His Highness is competent enough to lead this Ministry. HRH appointment will enhance the military forces position, and will improve the relationship between the Leadership and the members of the military establishment.
In conclusion, Dr. Al Howasi prayed that Allah would grant success to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz in his new position as the Minister of Defense, and that Allah would bless our country under the directions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and His Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz – May Allah protect them all.
