Minister of Health Reveals Details of Royal Decrees related to Health

​​On the behalf of Health Sectors employees, HE Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Rabeeah, convey his thanks and gratitude toward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Crown Prince and Second Deputy Premier on the occasion of the latest royal decrees which display government generosity for the sons and daughters of the Kingdom of Humanity.
 
HE stated that this royal generous gesture is resulted from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' commitment and dedication to improve the welfare of his people. 

HE also added that this government generosity allocated 16 SR bill to the Ministry of Health in order to expand and build a number of medical cities throughout the Kingdom, which reflects our leadership dedication to provide high quality services for our beloved citizens. Such new medical cities are considered an important addition to the Kingdom's health facilities, i.e. King Saud Medical City, which is considered one of the most well known medical facilities in the Kingdom due to its large number of health development projects.

The Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques has already directed to purchase the land located behind the medical city to be included and completed.

In addition to King Abdul Aziz Medical City as well as King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Medical Centre in each of Riyadh and Jeddah, where such cities are considered completed and provide advanced health services.
Moreover, Dr. AL Rabeeah pointed out that the five new medical cities which are included in the royal decree will be a great addition to our wide range of health facilities. Such medical cities will provide health services from the fourth level, which is considered highly expensive due to its development and operation cost and since it is directed to population and professional quality standards. 7000 beds will also be provided as well as medical centers of tumors, neural, critical cardiac surgeries, radiotherapy, organ transplant and other rare medical specialties.      
Furthermore, Minister of Health confirmed that he has contacted the concerned officials in the Ministry to start setting plans for implementing these new medical cities, which is considered part of the National Plan for integrated health services, in order to meet our leadership high expectations and make the provided health services reachable for those in different areas.
      
Dr. Al Rabeeah added that the Ministry is witnessing a comprehensive development where many Patient Service' Projects were implemented. HE continued that the Royal Decree also included allocating 2000 seats in Medicine and Nursing scholarships in order to provide high qualified national staff.

The upcoming years will be full of significant health achievements since 114 hospitals are being implemented, 106 are being introduced to be approved soon, 1400 health centers are under implementation as well as approving 450 health centre in this year budget. 
 
Minister of Health concluded by asking Allah Almighty to bliss and protect our Leadership and people, and that He will guide them along a path that guarantees the future security and development of our country.
