The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane approved transferring the duties and responsibilities of health education to the Assistant Undersecretary of Preventive Medicine instead of the General Directorate of Information. He also approved transferring the duties of health information to the General Directorate of Information. Furthermore, Dr. Al-Mane approved linking the General Directorate of Health Economics to the Consultant of Health Directorate. The decisions have been taken for ensuring flexibility of work processes and unification of responsibilities and duties among relative Directorates.
The Minister of Health also issued a number of assignments as follows:
- Assignment of Riyadh bin Musa Al-Khalifa to the position of General Manager of Budget for one year as of the date of this decision.
- Assignment of Mohammed Ali Kurdi to work at the office of the Minister of Health.
- Assignment of Sulayman bin Mansour Al-Shuaibi for the position of General Director of Follow-up for one year as of the date of this decision.
- Assignment of Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Sibaie for the position of consultant at the office of the Minister of Health for one year as of the date of this decision.
- Assignment of Dr. Khalid bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Rashud for the position of Assistant Undersecretary of Manpower Preparation and Development besides his duties as the General Supervisor of Health Institutes and Faculties for one year as of the date of this decision.
- Assignment of Mohammed bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Mowais for the position of Employees Affairs General Manager for one year as of the date of this decision.
- Assignment of Abdullah bin Inayatullah Al-Mitairi for the position of General Supervisor of Recruitment for one year as of the date of this decision.
- Assignment of Dr. Zuhair bin Mohammed Niazi for the position of General Manager of Quality Insurance for one year as of the date of this decision.
- Assignment of Dr. Isam bin Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Ghamdi for the position of General Manager of Health Center for one year as of the date of this decision.
