Osteoporosis patients are diagnosed through one of the following methods:
- Identifying the symptoms of the disease, such as joint pain, neck pain and lower-back pain.

Prevention and Treatment:
- Having balanced meals, including all the necessary nutrients for bone growth
- Eating foods rich in calcium and Vitamin D
- Avoiding smoking and alcohol
- Exposure to the sunlight (during sunrise and sunset)
- Taking the proper medication, based on the doctor's directives
