(MOH) Advises Against Traveling To Parts Of West Africa Affected By Ebola Outbreak
06 August 2014

The Ministry of Health advises citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia to avoid all travel to Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea until further notice. This is because of the active outbreak of Ebola virus in those countries.

This announcement follows the previously announced decision to bar pilgrims from these countries from participating in umrah or hajj during 2014.

MOH continues to monitor the situation in the affected areas of these countries in cooperation with the World Health Organization (WHO). This travel advisory will be updated if conditions change on the ground in West Africa.
